TWO POEMS FOR THE ROAD

My Fears
There are four things which I fear.
Nay, but one which I truly dread.
First, the fear of big flying birds.
Second, the fear of great, high mountains.

Third, the fear of the words of Nostradamus
The worst, the fear it might again.

For Whom Can Not Be Renewed.
For whom cannot be renewed,
My love forever flows.
For whom in times of need,
I did always go.
For whom in times of help,
I did always turned.
For whom in times of misbehaviour,
I did need a scold.
For whom cannot be renewed,
. . .
My mother.
